Abstract
Uppfinningen avser en massdämpare (10) för en böjningskompenserad vals (12) som bildar en fiberbanmaskins nyp (102), vilken massdämpare (10) innefattar - en stomme (14) för fästande av massdämparen (10) på en stationär axel (16) som ingår i den böjningskompenserade valsen (12) inuti den böjningskompenserade valsen (12), - ett flexibelt element (18) fäst vid stommen (14), vilket nämnda flexibla element (18) är en gejdaxel (20), vilken innefattar ett flexområde (30), utanför vilket flexområde (30) gejdaxeln (20) är fäst vid stommen (14), - ett masselement (22) anordnat i anslutning till det nämnda flexibla elementet (18), på ett flexområde (30), - förflyttningsanordningar (24) för att förflytta ett masselement (22) i gejdaxelns (20) längdriktninig samt - låsningsanordningar (26) för att låsa masselementet (22) på ett avstånd (d) från stommen (14) med hjälp av gejdaxeln (20). Uppfinningen avser även ett arrangemang i en fiberbanmaskin.
