Abstract

Keksintö koskee lihaksen tilan määrittämistä normaalin eiväsymystilan, väsymystilan ja passiivisen tahdottoman jännitystilan välillä. Lihaksesta tuleva signaali rekisteröidään (110) levossa elektrodijärjestelyn (410, 450, 460, 470) avulla, jossa maadoituskappale (458, 478) voi estää elektrodeja poimimasta signaaleja maadoituskappaleen rajojen ulkopuolelta. Signaalin taajuussisältö määritetään spektrianalyysillä, esimerkiksi laskemalla spektrin momentti (240). Normaali taajuussisältö osoittaa lihaksen ei-väsymystilaa (260), kun taas matala ja korkea taajuussisältö osoittavat lihaksen väsymystilaa (250) ja passiivista tahdotonta jännitystilaa (270).
