Description
Hybridisuutin Tämä keksintö koskee patenttivaatimuksen 1 johdanto-osan mukaista soodakattilan ilmasuutinta.Hybrid nozzle This invention relates to the soda boiler air nozzle according to the preamble of claim 1.
Keksinnön mukaisten ilmasuuttimien ensisijaisina käyttökohteina ovat — kemialliseen puunjalostusteollisuuteen, tarkemmin selluloosan valmistusprosessiin liittyvät, kemikaalien talteenottoon ja energian tuotantoon kehitetyt kattilalaitokset, joita ammattikielessä kutsutaan soodakattiloiksi. The primary applications of the air nozzles according to the invention are — boiler plants developed for the chemical recovery and energy production related to the chemical wood processing industry, more specifically the cellulose manufacturing process, which are called soda boilers in the jargon.
Keksinnön käyttökohteena voivat olla myös muut kattilalaitokset, joissa tulipesän olosuhteet aiheuttavat ilmasuutti- mille kestävyysongelmia, esimerkiksi voimakkaan kemiallisen rasituksen tai palokaa- — sujen virtauksen aiheuttaman eroosion ja korroosion vaikutuksesta. The invention can also be used in other boiler plants where the conditions of the firebox cause durability problems for the air nozzles, for example due to erosion and corrosion caused by strong chemical stress or the flow of fire gases.
Keksinnölle on tunnusomaista se, mikä on tarkemmin määritelty itsenäisen patentti- vaatimuksen tunnusmerkkiosassa. The invention is characterized by what is more precisely defined in the distinguishing mark part of the independent patent claim.
Epäitsenäisissä patenttivaatimuksissa on määri- telty keksinnön toteutukseen liittyviä rakenneratkaisuja ja itsenäistä patenttivaati- musta täydentäviä yksityiskohtia.Non-independent patent claims have defined structural solutions related to the implementation of the invention and details supplementing the independent patent claim.
Ilmasuuttimien kautta johdetaan kattilan tulipesään esilämmitettyä palamisilmaa polttoprosessin hallitsemiseksi mahdollisimman täydellisenä.Through the air nozzles, preheated combustion air is led into the firebox of the boiler in order to control the combustion process as completely as possible.
Ilmasuuttimet on sijoi- tettu kattilan tulipesän seiniin usealle eri korkeudelle ja tyypillisesti vastakkaisille sei- — nämille kullakin korkeusasemalla. The air nozzles are placed on the walls of the boiler firebox at several different heights and typically on opposite walls at each height.
Ilmasuuttimet asennetaan kattilan tulipesän put- kistoseinämiin muodostettuihin läpivientiaukkoihin. The air nozzles are installed in the through holes formed in the pipe walls of the boiler firebox.
Ilmasuuttimien kautta syötettävä ilma johdetaan paineistettuna ilmasuuttimille kattilan tulipesän ulkopuolelle järjeste- tyistä jakokanavista, joista on yhteys kullekin ilmasuuttimelle. The air fed through the air nozzles is led under pressure to the air nozzles from distribution channels arranged outside the boiler firebox, from which there is a connection to each air nozzle.
Ilmasuuttimen vir- tausaukon geometriaan perustuen ja suutinkohtaisen ilmamäärän säädön avulla py- o 25 — ritään saavuttamaan haluttu ilmansyötön jakauma tai peitto tulipesän eri korkeus- O asemiin optimaalisen palamisprosessin vaatimusten mukaan.Based on the geometry of the air nozzle flow opening and with the help of nozzle-specific air quantity adjustment, the desired distribution or coverage of the air supply to the different height O positions of the firebox can be achieved according to the requirements of the optimal combustion process.
Suomalainen patentti- se julkaisu FI120550 esittelee esimerkkinä erästä ratkaisua ilmasuuttimien sijoitteluun O tulipesän seinämille. = > 30 — Soodakattilan polttoaine, mustalipeä, syötetään tulipesään halutun kokoisina pisa- & roina polttoaineen syöttöön suunniteltujen suuttimien kautta. The Finnish patent publication FI120550 presents as an example a solution for placing air nozzles O on the walls of the firebox. = > 30 — The fuel of the soda boiler, black liquor, is fed into the firebox in the desired size as drops & streaks through nozzles designed for fuel supply.
Pisaroidun polttoai- S nesyötön ja hallitun paloilman syötön tuloksena saavutetaan tulipesässä hallittu pa- N lamisprosessi. As a result of the dripped fuel supply and controlled combustion air supply, a controlled combustion process is achieved in the firebox.
Soodakattilan ilmasuuttimet ovat kattilan toiminnan kannalta kriittisiä komponent- teja, joiden käyttöolosuhteet ovat erittäin vaativat. Tulipesän lämpötila ilmasuutti- mien eri korkeusasemissa vaihtelee tyypillisesti välillä 600 — 1200 Celsiusastetta. Korkean lämpötilan aiheuttaman korroosio-ongelman lisäksi palokaasut ovat kemial- — lisesti erittäin syövyttäviä emäksisiä kaasuja. The air nozzles of the soda boiler are critical components in terms of the operation of the boiler, whose operating conditions are very demanding. The temperature of the firebox at the different height positions of the air nozzles typically varies between 600 and 1200 degrees Celsius. In addition to the corrosion problem caused by the high temperature, fire gases are chemically very corrosive alkaline gases.
Ilmasuuttimien osalta erityisen ongelman muodostaa lisäksi ilmasuuttimen jättöpää- hän syntyvä pyörrevirtaus, joka palakaasuissa oleviin kiinteisiin partikkeleihin yhdis- tettynä aikaansaa voimakkaan eroosion sekä korroosion ilmasuuttimen kärkeen ja —myösrakokorroosion ilmasuuttimen jättöpään kärkiosan ja ilmasuuttimien asennus- aukon ohitusputkien liitoskohtaan. Korkeasta lämpötilasta ja pyörrevirtauksesta joh- tuen nykyisin käytössä olevien ilmasuuttimien ohuet kärkiosat pyrkivät palamaan, mikä aiheuttaa kärkiosan vaurioita ja aiheuttaa säännöllistä huoltotarvetta. Pyörre- virtaus aikaansaa voimakkaan eroosion erityisesti tulipesän kattilaputkiston läpime- —noaukkoa rajaaviin ohitusputkiin. Nykyisin käytössä olevien ilmasuuttiimien kär- kiosien vaurioituminen johtuu suurelta osin suuttimen puutteellisesta jäähdytyksestä sekä ohuesta rakennepaksuudesta suuttimen kärjessä.In the case of air nozzles, a special problem is also created by the eddy current generated at the discharge end of the air nozzle, which, when combined with solid particles in the exhaust gases, causes severe erosion and corrosion to the tip of the air nozzle and crevice corrosion at the junction of the tip part of the discharge end of the air nozzle and the bypass pipes of the installation opening of the air nozzles. Due to the high temperature and swirling flow, the thin tip parts of the air nozzles in use today tend to burn, which causes damage to the tip part and causes the need for regular maintenance. The swirling flow causes strong erosion, especially to the bypass pipes that delimit the through-opening of the firebox's boiler piping. The damage to the tip parts of the air nozzles in use today is largely due to the insufficient cooling of the nozzle and the thin structural thickness of the nozzle tip.
The air nozzles in use today are typically either welded plate construction or, to an increasing extent, cast components. The nozzles in use nowadays are of such a structure that they are only partially in contact with the bypass pipes of the installation opening and because of that the cooling of the air nozzle is limited. The air nozzles currently in use are typically installed and replaceable from outside the wall piping of the firebox, in which case the work of replacing the air nozzles is also o 25 — difficult, because the air supply ducts located outside the firebox as well as the control devices and equipment at least at the nozzles have to be dismantled to enable the replacement of the air nozzles.
o = Edellä kuvattujen ilmasuuttimien teknisten ongelmien aiheuttama kunnossapitotyö > 30 ja säännöllinen vaihtotarve aiheuttavat merkittäviä huoltokustannuksia, etenkin kat- 5 tilan käyttöseisokkien muodossa, jolloin tyypillisesti koko selluloosan valmistuspro- N sessi joudutaan pysäyttämään soodakattilan huoltotyön johdosta.o = The maintenance work caused by the technical problems of the air nozzles described above > 30 and the need for regular replacement cause significant maintenance costs, especially in the form of boiler downtimes, when typically the entire cellulose manufacturing process has to be stopped due to maintenance work on the soda boiler.
Seuraavassa esitellään joitain tyypillisiä ilmasuutinrakenteita patenttikirjallisuudesta löydettävien esimerkkijulkaisujen avulla. Suomalainen patenttijulkaisu FI103904 kuvaa levysuuttimen jäähdytysratkaisua, — jossa tulipesään puhallettavaa ilmaa hyödynnetään ilmasuuttimen jäähdytyksessä. Suomalainen patenttijulkaisu FI104993 esittelee ilmasuuttimen rakenneratkaisun, jossa levyrakenteiseen ilmasuuttimen virtauskanavaan on lisätty massiivinen lisäkap- pale, jonka materiaalitekniset ominaisuudet parantavat julkaisun mukaan suuttimen — kestävyyttä sekä jäähdytyksen paranemisen että sularoiskeiden keston suhteen. Ratkaisu on kehitetty erityisesti lähellä kattilan pohjan sula-alueella sijaitsevien, niin kutsuttujen primääri-ilmasuuttimien osalle. Japanilaisessa julkaisussa JPH10298887 kuvataan ilmasuuttimen korroosionkeston — parantamista materiaaliteknisin keinoin erikoisseostuksella. Suomalainen patenttijulkaisu FI100429 esittelee levyrakenteisen ilmasuutinkonstruk- tion, jossa ilmasuuttimen suutinpesä on kaasutiiviisti kiinnitetty kiinteäksi raken- teeksi tulipesä putkiseinämään ja suutinpesän sisälle on sijoitettu levyrakenteinen — erillinen vaihdettava suulakeosa. Yhtenä sovellutuksena suutinpesän kaasutiiviistä kiinnityksestä tulipesän seinämään on mainittu hitsausliitos. In the following, some typical air nozzle designs are presented with the help of example publications found in the patent literature. Finnish patent publication FI103904 describes a cooling solution for a disc nozzle, — where the air blown into the firebox is used to cool the air nozzle. Finnish patent publication FI104993 presents an air nozzle structural solution in which a massive additional piece has been added to the plate-structured air nozzle flow channel, the material technical properties of which, according to the publication, improve the nozzle's durability in terms of both improved cooling and the duration of melt splashes. The solution has been developed especially for the part of the so-called primary air nozzles located near the bottom of the boiler in the melting area. The Japanese publication JPH10298887 describes the improvement of the corrosion resistance of the air nozzle by means of material technology with a special alloy. Finnish patent publication FI100429 presents a plate-structured air nozzle construction, where the nozzle housing of the air nozzle is gas-tightly attached as a fixed structure to the firebox pipe wall and a plate-structured — separate replaceable die part is placed inside the nozzle housing. As one application of the gas-tight attachment of the nozzle housing to the wall of the firebox, the welding connection has been mentioned. The publication does not present a solution for cooling the air nozzle or for eliminating the vortex flow problem that consumes the tip part of the nozzle and its adjacent bypass tubes. The solution has been developed especially for the part of the so-called prio 25 — air nozzles located near the bottom of the boiler in the melting area.
II- masuuttimen runko-osa on irrotettavasti kiinnitetty kattilan tulipesän ulkopuolella putkiseinämässä sijaitsevaan rakenteeseen, esimerkiksi asennuskoteloon.S se With the structure of the air nozzle according to the present invention, it is possible to minimize the above-mentioned technical problems and thereby it is possible to significantly reduce the direct and indirect costs related to maintenance. * 30 & The invention is characterized by the fact that the air nozzle comprises two separate structural parts that can be installed partially inside each other, a body part and a replacement part, which, when connected together and installed in connection with the boiler, form a tubular air nozzle. The body part of the II nozzle is removably attached to a structure located outside the boiler firebox in the pipe wall, for example to the installation box.
Ilmasuut- timen runko-osaan irrotettavasti liitettävä vaihto-osa asennetaan ilmasuuttimen runko-osan yhteyteen tulipesän sisäpuolelta. The replacement part, which can be releasably connected to the body part of the air nozzle, is installed in connection with the body part of the air nozzle from the inside of the firebox.
The collar of the replacement part's discharge end is designed in such a way that it seals the seam between the replacement part and the bypass pipes of the air nozzle installation opening as tight as possible.
Tiivistystä voidaan tarvittaessa täydentää ohuella tiivisteellä pintojen välissä.If necessary, the sealing can be supplemented with a thin seal between the surfaces.
Ilmasuuttimen runko-osa on pitkäikäi- nen komponentti, jonka huolto- tai vaihtotyön tarve on pystytty keksinnön mukai- sessa ratkaisussa eliminoimaan. The body part of the air nozzle is a long-lasting component, the need for maintenance or replacement work has been eliminated in the solution according to the invention.
Ilmasuuttimen runko-osa on asennettu tulipesän putkiseinän ulkopuolelle. The body part of the air nozzle is installed outside the pipe wall of the firebox.
Myöskin ilmanjakokanavien ja säätölaitteiden purkutarve — vaihto-osan vaihdon yhteydessä on kokonaan eliminoitu, jolloin ilmasuuttimien huol- toon tarvittava työmäärä on minimoitu. Also, the need to dismantle the air distribution ducts and control devices — when replacing the replacement part is completely eliminated, which means that the amount of work required for the maintenance of the air nozzles is minimized.
Vaihto-osan ja runko-osan irrotettava liitos on varmistettu mekaanisella liitoselimellä.The removable connection between the replacement part and the body part is secured by a mechanical connection element.
Keksinnölle on lisäksi tunnusomaista se, että vaihto-osan jäähdytystä on tehostettu — muotoilemalla vaihto-osa siten että kosketuspinta kattilaputkiin on maksimoitu kon- vektioon perustuvan jäähdytyksen parantamiseksi. The invention is also characterized by the fact that the cooling of the replacement part has been enhanced — by shaping the replacement part in such a way that the contact surface with the boiler tubes is maximized to improve convection-based cooling.
Ratkaisulla pystytään vähentä- mään erityisesti vaihto-osan jättöpään lämpökuormaa. The solution makes it possible to reduce the heat load of the replacement part's discharge end in particular.
Keksinnölle on lisäksi tunnusomaista se, että vaihto-osan jättöpään kaulus suojaa il- —masuuttimen asennusaukon ohitusputkia, jolloin pyörrevirtausilmiö vaihto-osan ja ohitusputkien rajapinnassa pystytään suurelta osin eliminoimaan. The invention is also characterized by the fact that the collar of the discharge end of the replacement part protects the bypass pipes of the installation opening of the air-injector, whereby the vortex flow phenomenon at the interface between the replacement part and the bypass pipes can be largely eliminated.

Vaihto-osan (2) jäähdytys on kriittinen tekijä ilmasuuttimen käyttöiän kannalta. Kuviossa on runko-osan (1) ja vaihto-osan (2) konvektiopintaa ohitusput- o 25 — kea (4) vasten kuvattu pistekatkoviivalla (9).In the pipe wall structure of the firebox, the bypass pipes (4) delimiting the installation opening are shaped in such a way that the installation opening is formed between the bent pipes (4). The normal pipe-wall structure of the firebox consists of vertical boiler tubes (4), between which a plate-like fin (5) is welded as a structure. In the figure, the collar (10) of the replacement part (2) partially covers the bypass pipes (4) delimiting the installation opening, up to the level of the center line (6), thereby minimizing the effect of the vortex flow caused by the airflow from the nozzle on the bypass pipes (4) delimiting the installation opening. The body part (1) of the air nozzle is detachably attached to the installation housing (3), which is an integral part of the boiler piping. The replacement part of the air nozzle (2) is installed in such a way that it rests on the connecting surface in the body part (1). The body part (1) and replacement part (2) of the air nozzle form a flow channel for the air flow (8) when installed. The replacement part (2) is removably attached to the body part (1) in such a way that, in addition to the connecting surface in the body part, it rests on the surface of the bypass pipes (4) and the fin (5) between the bypass pipes (4). The attachment of the replacement part (2) to the body part (1) is secured by known locking elements from inside the air opening of the air nozzle, for example with a locking pin. Figure 3 shows the section B — B from Figure 1. The body part (1) and — replacement part (2) of the air nozzle are shaped so that their convection surface is as large as possible on the surfaces facing the bypass pipes (4). This design maximizes the cooling effect of the water flowing in the bypass pipes (4) on the components of the air nozzle. The cooling of the spare part (2) is a critical factor for the service life of the air nozzle. In the figure, the convection surface of the body part (1) and the replacement part (2) is depicted with a dot-dashed line (9) against the bypass drop 25 — kea (4).
