Claims (8)

1. Förfarande för att ansluta en av flera kundterminaler, eller CPE, via ett ATM-nät tili en av flera tjänsteoperatörer, eller SP, i vilket förfarande: - var och en CPE ansluts tili ATM-nätet via en slutpunkt, eller NT, i 5 motsvarande nät; och - en access-serverfunktion, eller ASF, skapas, som har en permanent virtualförbindelse tili varje NT och en förbindelse tili varje SP; kännetecknat av att: - ett tunnelbildningsprotokoll bildas pä nämnda permanenta virtual-10 förbindelse mellan varje NT och nämnda ASF, vilket tunnelbildningsprotokoll förmär stöda ett integrerat signaleringsprotokoll; - CPE eller dess användare väljer lämplig SP genom användning av nämnda integrerade signaleringsprotokoll; - dirigering frän CPE tili den valda SP utförs av nämnda ASF; och
15. ASF ansluter CPE tili den valda SP genom användning av nämn da integrerade signaleringsprotokoll.
2. Förfarande enligt patentkrav 1, kännetecknat av att en permanent virtualförbindelse skapas frän ASF tili varje SP.
3. Förfarande enligt patentkrav 1, kännetecknat av att en 20 pool av permanenta virtualförbindelser skapas frän ASF tili varje SP; och för var och en NT allokeras en förbindelse frän nämnda pool.
4. Förfarande enligt patentkrav 1, kännetecknat av att en kopplad virtualförbindelse (SVC) skapas frän ASF tili varje SP pä basis av sig-nalering som ASF mottar frän CPE via nämnda tunnelbildningsprotokoll. 25
5. Förfarande enligt patentkrav 1, kännetecknat av att nämnda tunnelbildningsprotokoll bildas endast som gensvar pä att relevant aktivitet detekteras i CPE.
6. Förfarande enligt patentkrav 1, kännetecknat av att nämnda tunnelbildningsprotokoll bildas permanent och nämnda integrerade 30 signalering inleds och användaren av CPE autenticeras endast som gensvar pä att relevant aktivitet detekteras i CPE.
7. Förfarande enligt patentkrav 1,kännetecknat av att bäde ASF och den valda SP autenticerar användaren av CPE.
8.
