Claims (11)
1. Förfarande för att avlägsna giftiga komponenter, inklusive svaveldioxid och 20 kvicksilver, ur heta rökgaser med en temperatur mellan 110 och 170 °C, som uppstär vid förbränning av koi med läg kloridhalt, varvid man under processen sprutar en suspension av ett basiskt absorberande ämne i en torkkammare i tork- absorptionszonen bildad av torkkammaren och partikelkollektorn samt en förbin- delsekanal i form av smä droppar i de heta rökgaserna, varvid vattnet i nämnda 25 droppar avdunstar och kvarlämnar torra smä partiklar, och samtidigt sorberas en . . del av gasens giftiga komponenter, inklusive svaveloxiderna, vätehaliderna och * »· : kväveoxiderna samt kvicksilvret i droppar av smä partiklar, varefter rökgaserna = . och de medföljande smä partiklarna leds tili partikelkollektorn, där kontakten mellan partiklarna och rökgaserna förorsakar ytterligare sorption av de giftiga 30 komponenterna, kännetecknat av att mängden klorid som inmatats i torkabsorp-tionszonen ökas tillräckligt sä att processens Hg-separationsförmäga förbättras. 16 104413
2. Förfarande enligt patentkrav 1, kännetecknat av att ökningen av klorid-mängden i torkabsorptionszonen ästadkoms genom att oka rökgasernas kloridhalt a) genom att tillsätta ett ämne innehällande klorid eller klor i kolet före eller under dess förbränning och/eller b) genom att spruta HC1 i gasform i rökgaserna 5 uppströms torkabsorptionszonen eller i torkabsorptionszonen. 3. Förfarande enligt patentkrav 1, kännetecknat av att ökningen av klorid-mängden i torkabsorptionszonen ästadkoms genom att tillsätta alkalimetall eller jordalkalimetallsalt eller en lösning av dessa i en vattenhaltig suspension av det basiska absorberande ämnet. J 10
4. Förfarande enligt patentkrav 1-3, kännetecknat av att det pulverformiga aktiva kolet dispergeras i rökgaserna pä ett ställe som är beläget uppströms torkkammaren, i nämnda kammare, eller nedströms kammaren, men uppströms partikelkollektorn.
5. Förfarande enligt patentkrav 4, kännetecknat av att aktivt koi används i en ...j α 15 mängd mellan 1-100 mg/Nm av rökgas.
6. Förfarande enligt patentkrav 4, kännetecknat av att 90-99 % av rökgasernas Hg-innehäll avlägsnas genom att i torkabsorptionszonen öka den tillförda gasens kloridhalt tili ett värde 20-150 ppm och genom att dispergera aktivt koi i m rökgaserna i en mängd mellan 1-100 mg/Nm . 20
7. Förfarande enligt nägot av patentkrav 1-6, kännetecknat av att ökningen av nämnda klorid utförs utgäende frän resultatet av Hg-analys av rökgaserna frän partikelkollektorn.
- 8. Förfarande enligt nägot av patentkrav 1-6, kännetecknat av att nämnda ökning av kloridtillförseln utförs i enlighet med kloridhalten hos rökgaserna som 25 kommer tili nämnda torkabsorptionszon.
9. Förfarande enligt patentkrav 8, kännetecknat av att nämnda kloridhalt mäts : med gasanalys och/eller beräknas med kalkyler baserade pä kloridanalys av kolet.
10. Förfarande enligt patentkrav 2, kännetecknat av att klorid- eller klorhaltigt : ämne tillsätts i kolet före eller under dess förbränning i en mängd som räcker för 30 att ästadkomma en total kloridhalt i rökgaserna som är ätminstone 1 vikt-ppm.
