CONSISTE EN: A) FORMAR UN MANDRIL APROPIADO, QUE PUEDE LLEVAR O NO NERVADURAS (10, 16, 18) EN SU SUPERFICIE EXTERNA (12), DE UNA PRIMERA CAPA DE REVESTIMIENTO INTERNO DE MATERIAL REFRACTARIO; B) FORMAR UNA SEGUNDA CAPA INTERMEDIA COMBINADA, HECHA DE MATERIAL REFRACTARIO Y DE METAL DE MANGUITO A BASE DE UNA ALEACION DE NIQUEL, ALUMINIO Y MOLIBDENO; C) FORMAR UNA TERCERA CAPA O EXTERNA DE ALEACION DE NIQUEL, ALUMINIO Y MOLIBDENO; Y D) RETIRAR EL MANDRIL UNA VEZ FORMADO EL CAÑON COMPLETO POR DISOLUCION QUIMICA O POR OTRO MEDIO CONVENCIONAL.
