Abstract
A droplet irrigation emitter for introduction into a hole in a pipe defined in a wall in an irrigation pipe which has an inner surface of the pipe and an outer surface of the pipe. The emitter comprises a body member which defines an outlet bore for fluid communication through the wall of the irrigation pipe; and an inlet member contiguous with the body member for delivering a controlled flow to the outlet bore, the inlet member having first and second wall parts located in a spaced relationship with respect to each other in general, the first wall part including a channel formed therein, the said wall part being capable of elastic application with the first wall part in response to the pressure of the water inside the irrigation pipe in order to form, together with the channel, a circuit for fluid communication through the inlet member, from the inside of the irrigation pipe to the outlet bore.
