COMPRENDE PRODUCIR UN TUBO DE ENVAINADO COMPUESTO (10, 100) DE TAMAÑO INTERMEDIO; SOMETER A TRATAMIENTO BETA SUPERFICIAL LA CAPA EXTERNA (10) DEL TUBO DE ENVAINADO DE TAMAÑO INTERMEDIO; TRABAJAR EN FRIO EL CITADO TUBO DE ENVAINADO EN UNA ETAPA HASTA EL TAMAÑO FINAL Y DESPUES RECOCER EL TUBO DE ENVAINADO COMPUESTO A UNA TEMPERATURA INFERIOR A 600JC PARA PRODUCIR UN TAMAÑO DE GRANO FINO TOTALMENTE RECRISTALIZADO EN SU CAPA INTERNA (100), SIENDO LA ESTRUCTURA DEL TAMAÑO DE GRANO DE 1/10 A 1/20 DEL ESPESOR DE LA PARED DE LA CAPA INTERNA. TIENE APLICACION PARA TUBOS DE ENVAINADO PARA ELEMENTOS COMBUSTIBLES NUCLEARES.
