CONSISTE EN TRATAR EL EXTRACTANTE CON UNA DISOLUCION ACUOSA DE ACIDO FOSFORICO QUE CONTIENE IONES FERROSOS; SEPARAR LA FASE ORGANICA EMPOBRECIDA EN URANIO DE LA FASE ACUOSA ENRIQUECIDA EN ESTE METAL; RECICLAR UNA FRACCION DE ESTA FASE ACUOSA ENRIQUECIDA HACIA LA PRIMERA ETAPA; Y AJUSTAR EL CONTENIDO DE IONES FERROSOS DE LA FRACCION RECICLADA PONIENDO LA FASE ACUOSA ENRIQUECIDA EN URANIO EN CONTACTO CON HIERRO METALICO, DE MODO QUE EL METAL ESTA EN MOVIMIENTO CON RELACION A LA FASE ACUOSA PARA CREAR UNA ABRASION DEL MISMO.
