Abstract
METODO DE RECUPERACION DE URANIO A PARTIR DE SUSPENSIONES ACUOSAS DE FLUORURO CALCICO QUE CONTIENEN EL URANIO EN FORMA DE URANATO CALCICO INSOLUBLE Y HIERRO EN PROPORCION INFERIOR A 100 PPM.CONSISTE EN PASAR LA SUSPENSION A TRAVES DE UN SEPARADOR MAGNETICO DE GRADIENTE ELEVADO, TAL QUE LOS DOS POLOS DEL IMAN ESTAN SEPARADOS POR UNA DISTANCIA INFERIOR A 8 CM; Y LA SEPARACION ENTRE LOS POLOS ESTA RELLENA CON UN MATERIAL INTERMEDIO POROSO FERROMAGNETICO, CON UN CAMPO MAGNETICO SUPERIOR A 10 KILOGAUSS, CON UN CAUDAL DE CIRCULACION INFERIOR A 40 1/MINUTO; Y RECUPERAR ELURANIO DEL SEPARADOR POR DISOLUCION CON ACIDO NITRICO Y EXTRACCION CON UN DISOLVENTE O MEDIANTE UNA COLUMNA DE CAMBIO IONICO.TIENE APLICACIONES PARA LA RECUPERACION DE URANIO DE LAS SUSPENSIONES RESIDUALES FORMADAS EN EL PROCESO DE PRODUCCION DE POLVO DE URANIO A PARTIR DE DIURANATO AMONICO.
