COMPRENDE: A) HACER REACCIONAR EL ACIDO L-GLUTAMICO OXIDASA, CUYA ACTIVIDAD NO DISMINUYE HASTA 65JC BAJO UN PH DE 5,5 DURANTE 15 MINUTOS, CON UNA ESPECIFICIDAD PARA EL SUSTRATO DE ACIDO L-GLUTAMICO MUY ALTA PERO PRACTICAMENTE INACTIVA SOBRE AMINOACIDOS DISTINTOS DE L-GLUTAMICO Y TAMBIEN CON UNA GRAN ESTABILIDAD, CON EL ACIDO L-GLUTAMICO, EN PRESENCIA DE AGUA Y OXIGENO; B) DETECTAR EL CONSUMO DE OXIGENO O LA FORMACION DE PEROXIDO DE HIDROGENO, AMONIACO, ACIDO A-CETOGLUTARICO, Y ACIDO L-ASPARTICO, QUE ACOMPAÑA A LA REACCION; Y C) TRADUCIR ESTE CONSUMO A UNA SEÑAL ELECTRICA Y DETERMINAR LA CANTIDAD DE ACIDO L-GLUTAMICO.
