LA MATERIA PRIMA DE LOS CATALIZADORES ES PRODUCTO INTERMEDIO O PRODUCTOS DE DESECHO DE LA PRODUCCION DE ACERO COMO ESCORIAS DE HORNO ALTO QUE TIENE UNA SUMA EFECTIVA O SUMA PROPORCIONAL DE IONES FE2B, CR3 Y TI4B CON LA FASE MAS BAJA ESTABLE EN UNA OXIDACION DEL 3%.
