CONSISTE EN LLEVAR A CABO EL ANALISIS MICROBIOLOGICO DEL AGUA QUE HA DE SER TRATADA Y DE CUALQUIER DEPOSITO EN EL SISTEMA; ENSAYAR UNA MUESTRA DEL AGUA A TRATAR CON CANTIDADES VARIABLES DE UNA COMBINACION DE GLUTARALDEHIDO E ISOTIAZOLONA, DE FORMULA (I), EN LA QUE R REPRESENTA HIDROGENO O CLORO, Y EN LA RELACION PONDERAL DEL 1:1 A 1:10, PARA DETERMINAR LAS CANTIDADES NECESARIAS PARA CONTROLAR EL CRECIMIENTO BACTERIAL; AÑADIR AL AGUA, DIRECTA O INDIRECTAMENTE LAS CANTIDADES ADECUADAS DE GLUTARALDEHIDO E ISOTIAZOLONA; CONTROLAR EL SISTEMA Y AÑADIR LAS CANTIDADES ADICIONALES NECESARIAS DE AMBOS REACTIVOS.
