CONSISTENTE EN: A) MUTAGENESIS DE UNA CEPA DE UNA ESPECIE DE STREPTOMYCETES PARA FORMAR CELULAS HUESPED DE CARACTERISTICAS GENETICAS DIFERENTES; B) CRECIMIENTO DE LAS CELULAS HUESPED Y FORMACION DE PROTOPLASTOS DE LAS MISMAS; C) TRANSFORMAR LOS PROTOPLASTOS CON DNA PLASMIDICO PROCEDENTE DE OTRA FUENTE, SELECCIONADA ENTRE OTRA CEPA DE STREPTOMYCETES, UNA BACTERIA O UNA LEVADURA, CONTENIENDO ESTE DNA UN ORIGEN DE REPLICACION Y UN MARCADOR SELECTIVO PARA EL HUESPED STREPTOMYCETES, ASI COMO CUALESQUIERA SECUENCIAS DE DNA NECESARIA PARA LA REPLICACION Y EL CULTIVO SELECTIVO PROCEDENTES DE OTRA FUENTE; D) REGENERAR LAS CELULAS HUESPED A PARTIR DE LOS PROTOPLASTOS TRANSFORMADOS QUE CONTIENEN EL DNA PLASMIDICO; E) SELECCIONAR LAS CELULAS HUESPED QUE HAN TOMADO EL DNA PLASMIDICO Y HAN SIDO INCAPACES DE RESTRINGIRLO, SEGUIN SELECCION POR LA EXPRESION DEL MARCADOR SELECTIVO; F) CONFIRMAR QUE LAS CELULAS HUESPED PRESENTAN ACTIVIDAD DE RESTRICCION REDUCIDA POR REINTRODUCCION DEL DNA EXTRAÑO POR FORMACION DE PROTOPLASTOS Y TRANSFORMACION SEGUN C), D) Y E).-
