Abstract
EP--85414 A Marker compsns. for explosives contain (A) at least 1 wt.% Fe powder and/or ferromagnetic allow powder and micro analytically detectable amts. of at least 2 of the following: (B) fluorescent pigments, (C) organic solvent-soluble water-insoluble fluorescent materials, (D) coloured pigments, (E) difficultly soluble, heat-stable oxides and/or salts of rarer metals, (F) oxides and/or difficultly soluble salts of rare earths, mixed homogeneously in a thermoplastic material. Novelty consists in using a thermoplastically workable material consisting of a high mol.wt. polymer having low water absorption capacity, high specific heat, low heat-conductivity, and low specific gravity, esp. polyethylene polypropylene, polyamide, polycarbonate, polyester, polyoxymethylene or acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene terpolymer. - Compsns. use for marking explosives is claimed. EPAB- EP--85414 B Marker compsns. for explosives contain (A) at least 1 wt.% Fe powder and/or ferromagnetic allow powder and micro analytically detectable amts. of at least 2 of the following: (B) fluorescent pigments, (C) organic solvent-soluble water-insoluble fluorescent materials, (D) coloured pigments, (E) difficultly soluble, heat-stable oxides and/or salts of rarer metals, (F) oxides and/or difficultly soluble salts of rare earths, mixed homogeneously in a thermoplastic material. Novelty consists in using a thermoplastically workable material consisting of a high mol.wt. polymer having low water absorption capacity, high specific heat, low heat-conductivity, and low specific gravity, esp. polyethylene polypropylene, polyamide, polycarbonate, polyester, polyoxymethylene or acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene terpolymer. - Compsns. use for marking explosives is claimed.
