PROCEDIMIENTO PARA TRATAR AGUAS USADAS EN LA FABRICACION DE PAPEL PARA REPRIMIR EL CRECIMIENTO DE BACTERIAS EN ELLAS. COMPRENDE: A) REALIZAR UN ANALISIS MICROBIOLOGICO DEL AGUA A TRATAR Y DE CUALESQUIER DEPOSITO EN EL SISTEMA DE AGUA CORRESPONDIENTE; B) ENSAYAR UNA MUESTRA DEL AGUA CON CANTIDADES VARIABLES DE UNA COMBINACION DE ALDEHIDO GLUTARICO E ISOTIAZOLONA DE FORMULA (I), PARA EVALUAR LAS CANTIDADES NECESARIAS PARA REPRIMIR EL CRECIMIENTO BACTERIANO; C) AÑADIR AL AGUA, BIEN SEA DIRECTA O INDIRECTAMENTE, LAS CANTIDADES APROPIADAS DE ALDEHIDO GLUTARICO E ISOTIAZOLONA; D) COMPROBAR EL SISTEMA PARA ASEGURARSE DE QUE EL CRECIMIENTO BACTERIANO CONTINUA REPRIMIDO; Y E) AÑADIR CANTIDADES ADICIONALES DE ALDEHIDO E ISOTIAZOLONA SI ES NECESARIO.
