PROCEDIMIENTO PARA LA PREPARACION DE UN MATERIAL REFRACTARIO PARA ALTAS TEMPERATURAS, CONSTITUIDO ESENCIALMENTE POR GRANOS DE OXIDO DE ALUMINIO AGLUTINADOS MEDIANTE NITRURO DE ALUMINIO, CARBURO DE ALUMINIO Y OXIDO DE ALUMINIO. COMPRENDE LAS SIGUIENTES OPERACIONES: PRIMERA, SE PREPARA UNA MEZCLA FORMADA POR UN 50 A UN 80% DE GRANOS DE CORINDON ELECTROFUNDIDO O FRITADO Y POR UN 20 A UN 50% DE CONSTITUYENTES DE AGLUTINANTE FINAL; SEGUNDA, LA MEZCLA FORMADA SE SOMETE A UNA OPERACION DEL MALAXADO CON UNA CANTIDAD CONVENIENTE DE LIQUIDO, DANDOLE A CONTINUACION FORMA A DICHA MEZCLA MEDIANTE PRENSADO A UNA PRESION MINIMA DE 600 BARS; Y POR ULTIMO, EL PRODUCTO PRENSADO SE CUECE A UNA TEMPERATURA MINIMA DE 1.500 GRADOS, BAJO UNA ATMOSFERA REDUCTORA, EN PRESENCIA DE NITROGENO.
