Abstract

The radial element comprises a chassis 1 mounted pivotably about a substantially vertical shaft 13, connected to a device 18 for controlling its pivoting and supporting, by means of three rotating guide members 2 to 4, two equidistant chains 5, 6 which are advanced by a drive device 10 and between which are fastened scraping elements 7. According to the invention, the axis of articulation 20 of the two foldable parts 8, 19 of the chassis 1 is substantially vertical so that the free end part 19 can be folded over, in a transport position, laterally against the pivoting distributing head part 8.
