Abstract
A printing plate formed by transferring a toned electrostatically formed image to a thin coating (10 min ) of one reactive component of a two-part thermosetting epoxy resin system bonded to a sheet metal substrate (12). The toner includes the second reactive component of said epoxy system. The coating can include a heat softenable material and also can include the hardener reactive component while the toner can be formed of the second or epoxy component either with or without a small amount of hardener. Heat (32) after transfer can be employed to complete polymerization of the two components.
