Abstract
D-alpha-aminophenyl acetic acid is sepd. from the racemic mixt. by treating with HCl to form the hydrochlorides, which are dissolved in 2-3 % HCl. The D-isomer crystallises out, leaving the L-isomer in the mother liquor.
