CONSISTE EN ACTIVAR UN CONJUNTO DE FUENTES SISMICAS (10, 11, ...), MEDIR LA ONDA DE PRESION EN VARIOS PUNTOS INDEPENDIENTES MEDIANTE HIDROFONOS (12, 13, 14, ...) CUYAS POSICIONES SON CONOCIDAS RESPECTO AL CONJUNTO, SOMETER A TRATAMIENTO LAS MEDICIONES PARA PRODUCIR UN NUMERO DE FORMAS CARACTERISTICAS A LAS FUENTES, TENIENDO EN CUENTA LAS INTERACCIONES ENTRE ELLAS, Y OBTENER LA FORMA CARACTERISTICA DEL CONJUNTO MEDIANTE LA SUPERPOSICION DE LAS FORMAS CARACTERISTICAS EQUIVALENTES.
