CONSISTE EN LA HIDROGENACION CATALITICA A UNA TEMPERATURA COMPRENDIDA ENTRE -20 C Y 100 C EN PRESENCIA DE UN CATALIZADOR QUE CONTIENE POR LO MENOS UNO DE LOS METALES PALADIO, PLATINO, IRIDIO Y RODIO, Y DE AL MENOS 1,8 MOLES POR LITRO DE AMONIACO RESPECTO AL DERIVADO DE ACIDO GRASO. TIENE APLICACIONES PARA LA PRODUCCION DE ACEITES PARA FREIR, ACEITES DE MESA, MATERIA PRIMA PARA MARGARINAS Y PARA PRODUCCION DE JABONES, ESTERES, ETC.
