PROCEDIMIENTO PARA LA OBTENCION DE UN COPOLIMERO DE ALFA-METILESTIRENO Y ACRILONITRILO EN DISPERSION ACUOSA, EN PRESENCIA DE UN COMPUESTO QUE SUMINISTRA RADICALES LIBRES. CONSISTE EN LA REACCION DE POLIMERIZACION DE UNA DISPERSION ACUOSA DE ALFA-METIL-ESTIRENO Y ACRILONITRILO, CONTROLANDO QUE LA TEMPERATURA DE LA DISPERSION NO LLEGUE A SER SUPERIOR A 110 GRADOS CENTIGRADOS Y QUE LA VELOCIDAD MEDIA DE ELEVACION DE LA TEMPERATURA SE MANTENGA EN UN VALOR INFERIOR A 60 GRADOS CENTIGRADOS POR HORA. ESTOS COMPUESTOS TIENEN APLICACIONES PARA LA FABRICACION DE ARTICULOS DOMESTICOS Y ELECTRICOS Y PIEZAS DE AUTOMOVILES, ASI COMO PARA MEJORAR LA RESISTENCIA AL CALOR DE OTROS SINTETICOS.
