CONSISTE EN LA REACCION DE UN MERCAPTOORGANOPOLISILOXANO QUE CONSTA DE UNA COMBIANCION DE DISTINTAS UNIDADES DE SILOXANO Y TIENE MAS DE DOS UNIDADES SILOXANO QUE CONTIENEN UN RADICAL MERCAPTO POR MOLECULA Y MENOS DE 1/ POR 100 EN MOLES DE DICHAS UNIDADES, CON UNA SA ESTANNOSA DE UN ACIDO CARBOXILICO DE FORMULA SN(OR)2, EN LA QUE R ES UN RADICAL ACILO MONOVALENTE. LA REACCION SE LLEVA A CABO EN ATMOSFERA DE OXIGENO Y, OPCIONALMENTE, EN PRESENCIA DE UN RELLENANTE Y DE UN PEROXIDO ORGANICO. ESTOS COMPUESTOS TIENEN APLICACIONES COMO SELLANTES.
