Multistage evaporation installations which include jet pumps 10 for co-condensation from the second evaporation stage onwards. The corresponding apparatus includes one or more jet pumps instead of a conventional co-condensers. The evaporation installations are used for the concentration of salt-containing solutions or suspensions, particularly radioactively contaminated solutions or suspensions.
