Abstract
The dryer has belt conveyors which are arranged vertically. The conveyors are horizontal and are driven electrically through one of the pulleys. The belt is stretched over a follower pulley at the other end. The belts are also staggered horizontally so that a product from the first and second belts fall onto the third which travels in the opposite direction. The fourth belt extends beyond the third, allowing the product to fall on it. This is repeated until the last belt is reached and the product discharged.
