ENTRE LOS DOS MODULOS SE INTERPONE UN ANILLO DE ASIENTO (10) CON UNA BRIDA EXTERIOR PLANA (11) COLOCADA ENTRE LAS BRIDAS DE LOS MODULOS ADYACENTES. EL ANILLO (10) DEFINE UNA SUPERFICIE INTERIOR (14) QUE REALIZA EL ASIENTO DE LA COMPUERTA (20) UNIDA A UN EJE (16). LAS CARAS LIBRES SEGUN EL EJE (X-X) DE LOS MODULOS ESTAN OBTURADAS POR CASQUETES (15) CON UN ORIFICIO CENTRAL PARA EL PASO DEL EJE DE MANDO DE LA COMPUERTA. EL CONJUNTO SE ENSAMBLA MEDIANTE PERNOS (18). EL FLUIDO ES ADMITIDO POR LA TUBERIA (7) DE UNO DE LOS MODULOS, PASA O NO SEGUN LA COLOCACION DE LA COMPUERTA Y SALE POR LA TUBERIA (7) DEL OTRO MODULO. SE OFRECEN VARIAS ALTERNATIVAS EN QUE VARIA EL NUMERO DE MODULOS ENSAMBLADOS, LA ORIENTACION DE LOS MISMOS Y EL SISTEMA DE MANDO DE LA COMPUERTA.
