LOS COMPONENTES SON FIBRAS REFORZANTES, CARGAS, LIGANTES Y NENTONITA SODICA, EN PROPORCIONES DE 35-90 POR 100, 0-10 POR 100, 0-50 POR 100, 1-10 POR 100 Y 10-20 POR 100, RESPECTIVAMENTE. EL PRODUCTO SE OBTIENE POR MEZCLAS SUCESIVAS DE FIBAS, LIGANTES, AGUA, QUE SE VAN HOMOGENEIZANDO, AÑADIENDO POR ULTIMO LA BENTONITA, HASTA OBTENER LA PASTA ALIMENTADORA DE MAQUINAS PRODUCTORAS DE PAPEL O CARTON. LAS FIBRAS MINERALES SON LANA DE ROCA O DE CERAMICA; LA FIBRA REFORZADA ES CELULOSA; LOS LIGANTES SON RESINAS TERMOPLASTICAS Y LAS CARGAS: CEMENTO, CAOLIN O YESO. EL FIBROCEMENTO ES UN CASO PARTICULAR CUANDO EL PORCENTAJE DE FIBRA ES BAJO Y EL DE CARGAS, CEMENTO, ALTO.
