Abstract
The solar heat collector comprises an absorber consisting of pipes through which coolant flows and which are in contact with a metal plate. The plate (1) is in a number of portions, each having holes with flanged edges (2) beaded over and pref. covered with a heat-absorbent coating. The pipes (3) are a press-fit in the holes, and distance sleeves (4) can be fitted between the individual plate portions as necessary. Each plate portion can be bent, having one heat-absorbent portion and one containing the holes and flanges.After insertion of the pipes in the flanges they can be expanded by pressing balls through them. There are heat resistant spacers between the coolant pipe of the absorber and a less heat resistant connecting pipe for introducing or removing the coolant. The spacers are pref. made of PTFE and the connecting pipe is pref. PVC.
