LA ENTRADA DE AGUA (20) ES DERIVADA EN DISPOSITIVO DE MEDIDA POTENCIOMETRICA (23), CON UN ELECTRODO ESPECIFICO PARA EL TIPO DE CATIONES A ANALIZAR, ASOCIADO A UN MODULO (24) QUE SUMINISTRA UNA SEÑAL CT PROPORCIONAL A LA CONCENTRACION TOTAL DE CATIONES. EL AGUA SE INTRODUCE EN UNA UNIDAD DE DESMINERALIZACION (21) CON RESINA CAMBIADORA DE IONES. PENETRA LUEGO EN UNA CELULA DE MEDIDA DE LA CONDUCTIVIDAD (22), QUE FORMA UNA DE LAS RAMAS DE UN PUENTE DE MEDIDA (25), QUE PERMITE, GRACIAS A UN MODULO (27), LA SALIDA DE UNA SEÑAL CS PROPORCIONAL A LA CONCENTRACION DE CATIONES. LA SEÑAL CA=CT-CS REPRESENTA LA CONCENTRACION DE BASES LIBRES EN EL AGUA. SE EXPLICAN METODOS DE ACTUACION EN EL CASO DE QUE EL AGUA ESTE CONTAMINADA POR AGUA DE RIO O DE MAR.
