Abstract

A summation transformer for a fault-current circuit breaker is provided with an annular strip-wound core (1) of a highly permeable magnetic material, a primary winding (4) and a secondary winding (3). Screening (2) is provided between the primary winding (4) and the secondary winding (3), which screening (2) consists of a metal or a metal alloy.
