Abstract

Una junta hermética de presión para paso de ejes, esencialmente caracterizada por el hecho de estar constituida por dos anillos de caucho u otro material de junta semejante, de sección en U, encarados por sus aberturas, entre los cuales está establecido un resorte helicoidal de diámetro correspondiente al del interior de dichos anillos, que actúa directamente sobre otros dos anillos metálicos de forma exterior troncocónica capaces de alojarse en el hueco de los anillos elásticos de modo que al ser apretado el citado resorte actúen por su parte inclinada sobre la pared de los últimos apoyada en la parte fija de la articulación, dándole una oblicuidad que produce el ajuste hermético de ambos anillos opuestamente sometidos a la acción del mismo resorte.
