Abstract

Procedimiento para la obtención del enantiómero levogiro del trans-5,6-di-p-metoxifenil-2,3,5,6-tetrahidro-imidazo[2,1- b]tiazol y sus sales de adición de ácido farmacéuticamente utilizables, caracterizado porque la mezcla de enantiómeros se disocia en los enantiómeros y se aísla el enantiómero levogiro, o en una 2-(2-X-etiltio)-4,5-di-p-metoxifenil-4- imidazolina de configuración correspondiente, donde X significa un grupo esterificado capaz de reacción, o en una 2- imino-3-(2-X-1,2-di-p-metoxifenil-etil)-tiazolidina de configuración adecuada, o en un tautómero de la misma, se cierra el anillo y, si se desea, el compuesto obtenido en caso dado en forma libre se transforma en una de sus sales o una sal obtenida en el compuesto libre o en otra sal.
