Abstract

Mejoras introducidas en un aparato para aplicar un parche de plástico fundido a los hilos de rosca de un tornillo, incluyendo dicho aparato una rueda de transferencia giratoria, una parte del borde de la cual está inmerso en un depósito fundido de plástico, e incluyendo un transportador móvil en el cual los tornillo están montados de manera sustancialmente paralela al eje de rotación de la rueda de transferencia, desplazando el transportador los tornillos con un movimiento continuo tangencialmente en contacto con el borde circunferencial de la rueda de transferencia giratoria de tal manera que un parche de plástico fundido sea transferido desde el borde de la rueda de transferencia hasta los hilos de rosca del tornillo, estando dichas mejoras constituidas por que: una región de la periferia de la rueda de transferencia define una muesca en el borde de la rueda de transferencia, teniendo la muesca una anchura suficiente para que la porción roscada del tornillo pueda situarse en la muesca cuando el tornillo se desplaza delante del borde de la rueda de transferencia.
