Abstract

Un aparato para establecer la posición de cabezas para leer y/o inscribir información con una primera o una segunda cabeza para leer y/o inscribir información siguiendo por turno consecutivamente pistas de registro, cuyas pistas son sustancialmente paralelas entre sí y que forman un ángulo con el eje longitudinal de un medio de registro en forma de cinta, y que comprende un primer y un segundo transductor para desplazar respectivamente la primera y la segunda cabeza, caracterizado porque el aparato comprende medios de detección para detectar si la diferencia entre las posiciones de la primera cabeza y la segunda cabeza en una dirección transversal a la dirección de las pistas de registro excede un valor predeterminado, y medios de corrección para aplicar una señal de control correspondiente a la segunda señal de control al primer transductor cuando dicha diferencia es superior a un valor predeterminado.
