Abstract

Nuevo procedimiento de fabricación de membranas o conos para altavoces de alta fidelidad, esencialmente caracterizado porque partiendo de plancha metálica preferentemente de duro aluminio, virilio ó cualquier otro de dureza y espesor requerido, se obtiene el cono ó membrana por torneado conformando el material a la conicidad apropiada, presentando un acabado en el perímetro menor del cono obtenido, una doblez o escalón constitutivo de un nervio de refuerzo, mientras que en el perímetro mayor de la pieza obtenida, si corresponde a un altavoz pequeño, se le practica al material un plegado sobre si hacia abajo, formando un estrecho bordón plano, cuya misión consiste además de servir de nervio de refuerzo, para unir el cono por medios convencionales al anillo elástico a efectos de vibración, quedando el remate periférico del cono en altavoces de mediano y gran tamaño, formando una corta doblez cilíndrica finalizada en otra doblez hacia afuera en ángulo recto a modo de pestaña, que forma un plano perpendicular al eje de giro del torneado, cuyo plano y dobleces además de la misión propia de nervios de refuerzo, actúa de soporte para el medio elástico de unión con el cuerpo del altavoz, permitiendo las oscilaciones y vibraciones requeridas en la membrana.
