Abstract

Perfeccionamientos en prótesis para cadera del tipo de las que están constituidas por una placa que forma base y que sobre su cara anterior soporta una cabeza esférica destinada a sustituir la cabeza del fémur y sobre su cara posterior está dispuesta una varilla fileteada apta para ser atornillada en el cuello del fémur, después de reseccionar la cabeza hasta que su cara posterior se apoye contra el extremo truncado del cuello del fémur, presentando además la cara anterior de la placa medios aptos para permitir su arrastre en rotación mediante una herramienta apropiada, caracterizados porque la varilla fileteada y su fileteado son cónicos, lo que disminuye considerablemente el tiempo de atornillado y facilita considerablemente la colocación de la prótesis.
