Abstract

Procedimiento para la preparación de elastómeros de poliuretano caracterizado porque comprende agregar a un prepolímero de poliuretano, terminado en isocianato, preparado, utilizando diisocianato de tolileno como único isocianato, y que contiene menos de 0,6% en peso de diisocianato de tolileno monomérico, suficiente diisocianato de 2,6-tolileno monomérico o una mezcla de diisocianato de 2,6- y 2,4-tolileno para proveer en dicho prepolímero de aproximadamente 0,7 a 3,0% en peso de diisocianato de tolileno no combinado monomérico, y hacer reaccionar el prepolímero de poliuretano resultante con 80,0 a 100% en base a los equivalentes totales de grupos de isocianatos combinados o no combinados presentes en el mismo, de la cantidad estequiométricamente requerida de 1,2-bis(2- aminofeniltio)etano.
