Abstract

Improvements in an electric motor control system of alternating current, including an excitation source, comprising an electric power conversion apparatus, which supplies alternating current energy of varying frequency and magnitude via electrical conductors to a stator of the motor, in order to effect movement of a motor rotor in relation to the stator, due to the interaction of current and flow in the motor when it is excited, including the system, a first control loop, which responds to a torque control signal of forces, to regulate the frequency of the alternating current energy to reach the ordered pair of forces and a second control loop, which responds to an excitation command signal for adjusting the magnitude of the alternating current energy, characterized by comprising : a) a first means coupled to said motor to derive a flow feedback signal, representative of the magnitude of the flow error in the engine; b) a second means coupled to electrical conductors, to derive a current feedback signal signal representative of the magnitude of the stator current in the motor; c) a third means, coupled to said motor, for deriving a speed feedback signal, representative of the angular velocity of the motor rotor; d) quarter means, connected to modify said flow feedback signal as a predetermined function of said velocity feedback signal, to derive a flow equilibrium signal; and e) a fifth means connected to add said flow balancing signal and said current feedback signal, to derive the driving command signal.
