Abstract

Procedimientos introducidos en las celdas de electrólisis de metal en fusión para la reducción del óxido de aluminio en aluminio metálico; compuestas por un crisol de electrólisis revestido con carbón, un soporte de ánodo que puedo ser bajado y está dispuesto en sentido central longitudinal, unas barras anódicas dispuestas en fila y fijadas en ambos lados del soporte de ánodo, por lo demás dispositivos existentes fijados en el soporte de ánodo entre las barras anádicas, un canal colector para los gases de escape que se extiende en sentido central longitudinal entre las dos filas de barras anódicas, una cubierta que se extiende de forma inclinada desde el soporte de ánodo hasta el borde lateral longitudinal del crisol y que se compone de sendas tapaderas adosadas lateralmente entre sí, caracterizado porque en la zona del soporte de ánodo y en cada una de ambos lados está dispuesto, por lo menos, un carril soporte, apoyándose sobre el carril soporte unas tapaderas por medio de una sujeción dispuesta en el borde de la respectiva tapadera situado en el lado del soporte de ánodo y que este o por lo menos durante la posición elevada del soporte de ánodo, y que éstas tapadera se apoyan libremente sobre el borde longitudinal del crisol.
