Abstract

Una máquina y su correspondiente método para lavar pasta de papel y otros materiales vacuofiltrables cuya máquina comprende: a. un tambor 10 dispuesto horizontalmente que tiene una pared lateral por la que puede pasar líquido, montándose dicho tambor 10 de forma que gire alrededor de su eje horizontal; b. un depósito 30 montado de forma que rodee al menos la parte inferior de dicho tambor 10, construyéndose dicho depósito 30 para contener líquido fuera de dicho tambor; c. medios de rodillo 58 montados para rotación en posiciones separadas por encima y por debajo de dicho tambor 30; d. cintas filtradoras sin fin superior e inferior 50 y 52 guiadas alrededor de dicho tambor en relación de cara a cara entre sí para sujetar una capa de material a lavarse; e. medios de alimentación 38 para depositar el material vacuofiltrable entre dichas cintas filtradores sin fin 50 y 50; f. medios de accionamiento montados para accionar dichas cintas si fin; g. medios de entrada de líquido 32 para introducirlíquido en dicho depósito 30; y h. medios de vacío 22 conectados en comunicación con dicha pared lateral de dicho tambor 10 para producir un vacío parcial para facilitar una diferencia de presión entre la capa de material y los contenidos líquidos de dicho depósito 30 para sacar por ello líquido del depósito 30 a través de la capa de material.
