Abstract

L'invention concerne une machine et un procédé de lavage de pâte à papier et autres matières filtrables sous vide. Ladite machine comporte un tambour de lavage monté dans une cuve. Deux bandes filtrantes sans fin passent autour du tambour et dans un liquide de lavage contenu dans la cuve. Un matelas de pâte est formé entre les deux bandes sans fin et est transporté sur le tambour et à travers la cuve pour y être lavé. La liqueur de lavage est aspirée par dépression à travers le matelas à mesure qu'il se déplace sous le tambour de manière à laver le matelas. Après son lavage de la pâte à papier ou autres matières filtrables sous vide.
