Abstract
Perfeccionamientos en las pilas electrolíticas con componentes compensados del campo magnético, para producir aluminio por medio de electrólisis en metal fundidos, desde cuyos lados longitudinales la corriente eléctrica que sale de las varillas del cátodo es enviada asimétricamente, por medio de un mínimo de cuatro carriles colectores a las barras anódicas del horno inmediato, caracterizados porque las barras colectoras catódicas, que derivan la corriente en direcciones opuestas y uno de los lados longitudinales del horno, se encuentran dispuestos a diferentes distancias del eje longitudinal del horno y las barras colectoras del otro costado del horno van dispuestas a diferentes distancias del eje longitudinal del horno, encontrándose los carriles diametralmente opuestos a las separaciones más largas y los carriles a las separaciones más cortas y porque las desviaciones de las barras colectoras, según sea la posición de la serie de hornos contiguos, están dispuestas de forma tal que en la pila electrolítica se forma un campo magnético adicional determinado con arreglo a un conocido procedimiento de cálculo electrotécnico que dirige la dispersión magnética en sentido opuesto a través de la serie de hornos contigua.
