Abstract

Un método para preparar una 2-naftalen- etanimidamida disustituida en N, N'' o una sal farmacéuticamente aceptable de la misma que comprende convertir un nitrilo de la fórmula **(Fórmula)** donde R1 y R2 pueden estas localizados cada uno en una de las posiciones libres posibles del anilo de naftaleno e independientemente representan halo, hidroxi, alcohilo inferior de 1 a 3 átomos de carbono, o alcoxi inferior de 1 a 3 átomos de carbono y m y n representan independientemente los enteros cero o uno, en la correspondiente sal de imidoéster por alcohólisis utilizando un alcohol absoluto y un ácido fuerte anhidro farmacéuticamente aceptable a una temperatura comprendida entre aproximadamente 0º y 40ºC; hacer reaccionar la sal de imidoéster en un disolvente inerte a una temperatura comprendida entre aproximadamente 45º y 120ºC con al menos dos equivalentes de una alcohilamina que tiene la fórmula general RNH2 en la que R es un alcohilo inferior de 1 a 3 átomos de carbono; y recuperar la sal farmacéuticamente aceptable de la 2- naftalenetanimidamida disustituida en N, N''.
