Abstract

A plant for the continuous mfr. of curds consists of a U-shaped, thermostatically heated through where the coagulant and whey are introduced at one end. An endless conveyor with rectangular plates suspended on two chains moves the material gently to the discharge end where a belt conveyor transfers it to a chute. This plant has a high output and operates with a min. of labour cost. It turns out a very homogeneous prod.
