Procedimiento para la preparación de un 2,3-dihidro-2-metil-3-[2-(dimetilamino)-propil]-fenil-1Hindo-1-carboxaldehido racémico de la fórmula I **(Fórmula)** con el punto de fusión de 71-72ºC, caracterizado por los siguientes datos de 1H-RMN: (d6-DMSO, 90 MHz, TMS como patrón interno): a) 400K:{alfa}= 8,63 (1H-s, CHO); 7,0 ¿ 7,7 (9H-m, H aromático); 4,65 (1H-q, 2-H, J = 6Hz); 1,76 - 2,5 (3H-m, protones en 1¿ y 2¿) 2,03 (6H-s, N(CH3)2); 1,38 (3H-d, 2-CH3 J= 6Hz); 0,66 (3H-d, CH3 de la cadena lateral J= 6Hz) b) 300K:{alfa}= 8,48 y 8,82 (en cada caso s, juntamente 1H); 7,6 - 8,05 (1H-m, H aromático) 7,0 - 7,5 (8H-m, H aromático); 4,52 y 4,86 (en cada caso q, juntamente 1H, J = 6Hz); 1,7 -2,75 (9H-m); 1,37 y 1,22 (en cada caso de, justamente 3H, J= 6Hz); 0,5 ¿ 0,8 (3H-m, eventualmente doble doblete
