Abstract

A method of producing flexible high-elasticity polyurethane foams from organic polyisocyanates, exclusively amino catalysts, expansion agents and hydroxylated polyethers resulting from the polyaddition of propylene oxide and ethylene oxide on one or more compounds containing labile hydrogen atoms, the method being carried out in the absence of surface-active compounds resulting from the condensation of alkylene oxides on siloxanes, and the hydroxylated polyethers having been produced from compounds containing two labile hydrogen atoms and having a hydroxyl number of from 20 to 40, a proportion of groups resulting from the polyaddition of ethylene oxide of from 10 to 50% by weight of the total of groups resulting from the polyaddition of ethylene oxide and propylene oxide, and a proportion of primary hydroxyl groups of from 60 to 100% with respect to the total of hydroxyl groups.
