Abstract

1.Perfeccionamiento en dispositivos para rellenar una fuga en una porción recta de un tubo de intercambiador de calor, caracterizados porque comprenden un mandril axial de un material buen conductor eléctrico, sobre el que se insertan arandelas metálicas de revolución de perfil cónico separadas por pastillas cilíndricas aislantes, una cabeza aislante fijada en una extremidad del mandril axial y un soporte igualmente aislante montado en la extremidad opuesta a la cabeza, siendo atravesado libremente el soporte por una parte fileteada del mandril que coopera con una tuerca apoyada sobre el soporte y que permite ejercer sobre las arandelas cónicas una tensión inicial regulable tal que las arandelas se apliquen por sus bordes periféricos externos contra un manguito cilíndrico delgado, coaxial al mandril y cuyo diámetro externo es ligeramente inferior al diámetro interno del tubo que incluye la fuga a rellenar, medios para introducir el soporte en el manguito y después el manguito en el tubo a fin de disponer el manguito enfrente de una región que comprende la fuga, medios para ejercer sobre el mandril un desplazamiento axial con respecto al soporte de tal modo que las arandelas cónicas sufran un aplastamiento máximo pasando así de un perfil cónico a un perfil más aplastado, ejerciendo estas arandelas cada una sobre el manguito un esfuerzo radial que aplica el manguito en contacto estrecho con el tubo según tantas lineas circulares como arandelas haya, y medios para hacer pasar una corriente eléctrica a través sucesivamente del mandril, las arandelas, el manguito y el tubo a fin de realizar según las líneas circulares soldaduras por resistencia del tubo y del manguito.
