Abstract
Procedimiento para producir cloruro de aluminio, caracterizado porque se somete un óxido de aluminio de superficie específica no menor de diez metros cuadrados por gramo a la acción de cloro y otro gas que ceda cloro, en presencia un quince a veinticuatro por ciento de carbón en la mezcla de ambos sólidos, a temperaturas comprendidas entre quinientos y setecientos cincuenta grados centígrados y en recinto exento de aire y vapor de agua, sustancialmente, a presión comprendida entre una décima y diez atmósferas, aplicando, ordinariamente, la técnica de lecho fluidizado.
