Abstract

Neumático dotado de una armadura de carcasa radial anclada a uno y otro lado a por lo menos una varilla de talón, y de una armadura localizada en la zona de la banda de rodadura, paralela a la armadura de carcasa, al menos a lo largo de una zona ecuatorial, formada por al menos dos fajas superpuestas de hilos o cables paralelos en cada faja y cruzados de una faja a la otra, formando los hilos o cables de cada faja un ángulo agudo con la dirección longitudinal del neumático, caracterizado porque incluye, entre la armadura de banda de rodadura y la armadura de carcasa, y en la zona ecuatorial del neumático un bloque limitador formado por dos fajas de cables superpuestas, de anchura inferior a la de la armadura de rodadura, cruzadas con relación a la dirección longitudinal y que forman, con esta dirección longitudinal, un ángulo en valor absoluto a la vez diferente de cero grados e inferior al menos ángulo de las fajas de la armadura de banda de rodadura con la dirección longitudinal, siendo los hilos o cables de refuerzo de estas dos fajas muy poco extensibles, de preferencia metálicos.
